Wayne Kreiger served as head coach of Columbia City girls' basketball from 1977 to 2010, leading the Lady Eagles to 520 career wins. His teams captured 17 sectional titles, 8 regional titles, one semi-state championship, and a state runner-up finish.
Coach Kreiger remains the winningest coach in Columbia City girls' basketball history and ranks as the fifth-winningest girls' basketball coach in Indiana history. In 2006, he was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
