Columbia City High School is actively seeking nominations to
the Columbia City High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was
created in 2019 to recognize the outstanding athletic achievements of past
athletes, coaches, teams, and other athletic contributors, who through
their commitment, sacrifice, and dedication to the Columbia City High
School athletic program, has brought pride and distinction to our school
and community.
The nominee, living or deceased, must have demonstrated
significant contributions to Columbia City High School Athletic Program
with an emphasis in the following areas:
1. Accomplishments as a CCHS athlete/coach as determined by
statistical records or the number and stature of the awards received.
2. Success or prominence in life, including his/her
professional career, stature in community, and service to the school and
the athletic program.
3. Demonstration of integrity, character, success, leadership,
and communityinvolvement duringhigh school coaching/playing/administrative
career.
The selection committee will follow an open nomination
procedure with anyone eligible to nominate aqualified contributor. Please
note that completed nomination packets are due March 31st .
Nominees must meet the following criteria:

Must be a graduate of Columbia City
High School.

Nominated teams must have competed as a
team under the Columbia City High School athletic program.

10 years must have passed since last
competing in interscholastic sports.

Coaches must have given 10 years of
coaching to Columbia City High School and must be 3 years removed from
the completion of their last year.

Contributors must have given 10 years
of contributions to the Columbia City High School Athletics and must
be 3 years removed from the completion of their last year.

Nominated individuals must be free of
public dishonor and must not have been dismissed or expelled from
Columbia City High School.
